Chapter 158: White Cloud Main City

When I entered White Cloud City Square, I saw a giant statue that was made of white jade in the center of the square. It was in the form of a female knight in a long skirt and under the statue, there was the name Annie carved there!

It was a very simple quest, it was just killing a hundred corpse eating ghosts. I tried talking to the NPC again, but I found that I couldn’t get any more quests. It seemed like I could only kill these corpse eating ghosts!

I was the first player to finish the quest and I quickly ran back to patrol team leader Wack. After choosing to speak, Wack said with a happy smile, “Brave young man, your strength really is shocking! Come, this is your reward!”

I was a bit surprised, it was actually a 625 difficulty quest and it was a unique quest! Being first to leave the city and kill the corpse eating ghosts really was a smart move!

Four damage figures appeared and in just a moment of contact, my powerful attacks had emptied the HP bar of this level 70 skeleton warrior. After two more normal attacks, the 6 second cooldown finished and I used an Ice Wind Thorn and a Whirlwind Slash, finishing off this skeleton warrior. It collapsed into bones on the ground and dropped several gold coins.
I didn’t have time to pick it up because two other skeletons had already come over!
“Pa, pa!”
With two sounds, their swords hit my armour and I felt a bit of pain. My HP dropped by 500 and my heart skipped a beat. This wasn’t good, there was too much of a level difference and even if my defense was far greater than the attacks of the skeletons, they were still breaking my defenses! A level disparity ignored stat differences and it was a very serious situation! It seemed like it really was a bit too much to do a 625 difficult quest alone!
But thinking about it, I would kill it if it came. There was no reason for me to retreat.
